When will I feel better

The preference to not feel this way is such a slippery fish in our pursuit of self acceptance.

"I want to accept everything about myself, so that I can feel better"
The "so that" part tells us that we're wanting to get to somewhere that isn't HERE. It's the sneakiest self rejection. And it's happening all time for most of us. 

Are we willing to see all the things we're desperate to omit or change in our experience? Are we willing to admit what we're rejecting in the process?

And, can we deeply accept that part of us that wants the whole thing to change?
Can we wrap our entire experience in acceptance, always zooming out to include more and more, leaving nothing out?

What's funny is when we really accept the part that wants it all to change... It usually no longer needs things to change.
